Housing Sales and Marketing Director
Darlene Shafer has been an employee of Ecumen since February 2015, starting her career as the housing manager of Ecumen Parmly LifePointes in Chisago City. She moved into the role as Marketing Director for housing at Parmly LifePointes and Ecumen Point Pleasant Heights in October 2015. Darlene is a member of several senior networking groups, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Chisago Lakes Rotary. She likes to travel and socialize with family and friends. She also enjoys the entertainment her three cats provide.
Mara Krinke has been with Ecumen Point Pleasant Heights since January 2014. She was hired then as the Community Outreach Coordinator and moved into the Housing Director role at Parmly LifePointes and Ecumen Point Pleasant Heights in October 2015. Mara is a member of the Chisago Lakes Rotary Club as well as the Chisago Lakes Chamber, and stays active with both groups to help support our community. In her spare time, Mara enjoys camping, biking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Life Enrichment Specialist
Beth Nephew has been with Ecumen Point Pleasant Heights since 2007. Beth is responsible for planning activities, events, publishing Point Pleasant Heights’ monthly newsletter, and overseeing the front desk. She enjoys serving our tenants, helping visitors and using creativity to make things fun and engaging here at “PPH,” and is proud to work with a great team! Beth is married, with 3 married children and 8 grandchildren. She enjoys camping and spending time with family, and loves the great outdoors, as bicycling and snowshoeing are some of her favorite activities. Beth also enjoys watching football, hockey, baseball and the Olympics.
Ed Keen has been with Ecumen since 2015. He enjoys doing maintenance at Ecumen Point Pleasant Heights as it is a way for him to serve others. Ed likes to fish as well as garden, where he grows vegetables and raspberries. Ed enjoys spending time with his wife, his three grown boys, and 9 grandchildren.
Virginia (Jeannie) Donner
Virgina (Jeannie) Donner has been an employee of Ecumen since December 2017 as the Dining Supervisor at Ecumen Point Pleasant Heights. She comes from a background in hospital Nutrition Services Management and has been in Food Service Management for over 25 years. Jeannie enjoys camping, fishing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
